White Rose Public House

GV II

Public House. c1820 with later alterations. Stuccoed brick
with ashlar dressings; parapeted roof and brick end stack. 3
storeys; 3-window range. Entablature over ground floor; 1st
floor has end fluted pilasters and anthemion capitals, frieze,
dentilled cornice and parapet. Ground floor has paired windows
flanking central entrance with flat pilasters; end entrances
with flat pilasters, that to right end now window with 12-pane
horned sash; other windows have 16-pane sashes; entrances with
overlights and fielded panelled doors; lanterns over.
INTERIOR: 1st floor not inspected.
