House. c1730. Red brick with painted stone dressings and plinth. Renewed tiled
roof with end brick chimney stacks. L-shaped building of 2 storeys, 5 windows.
5 sashes with 12 panes cambered heads and keystones. Band between floors and end
quoins, plinth. Left side lead rainwater head with floral design. High central
doorcase with fluted pilasters having capitals like scallop shells, curved pediment
and 8 panel moulded door. Service wing in similar materials behind. Rear
elevation has early C18 wide glazing bars and arched stair window. Interior
inspection not permitted at time of survey, but reported fine early C18 staircase
with 3 separate patterns of turned balusters to each tread and pine panelling.
