Built in 1865 by G.E Street, and it replaces a small Georgian church. The present 1865 church is in Early English style. A small pink sandstone ashlar building with a tiled roof. The nave has cusped triple lancets, the west end has three lancets with rose window above and a polygonal bell-turret, corbelled over the gable, with a short spire, all in stone. The chancel has pairs of lancets with trefoiled light above and a three-light east window with intersecting tracery. Timber-framed north west porch.

Interior: sandstone ashlar walls, arched brace roofs. Contemporary furnishings.

A few C18 headstones to north and south of church.
