GV II

Stable block, mid C19. Rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate
roof, wooden bell turret with lead cap. Ranges around rectangular yard.
Italiante style. East elevation 1 storey, 7 bays, symmetrical. Slightly
projecting pedimented central bay. Rusticated pilasters flank round-arched
doorway, with moulded imposts and triple keystone, under cornice with large
paired brackets; clock above in panelled surround. Square bell turret with
wavy louvres under segmental arches, and pyramidal cap with weathervane.
Segmental-arcaded side sections frame segment-headed windows in raised stone
surrounds with projecting bracketed sills. End pilasters.

Left return shows similar detail; 1 storey and basement, 5+3 bays. Lower left
part has 4-bay blind arcade with keyed oculus at far left. Right return 1
storey, 3+5 bays with blind arcade to taller left part.
