Farmhouse, now house. Early C17; C18 front bay and rear extension; later
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; stone ridge
stack. 2-unit lobby-entry plan, extended to L-plan in C18. 2 storeys; 3-window
range. Two-storey projecting central bay has C20 timber lintels over C20
two-light casements. Timber lintel over C20 French doors to right; ovolo-moulded
timber lintels over late C18/early C19 four-light leaded casement above; similar
lintel over 3-light casement, with similar C20 window above, in left bay. C17
ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned 3-light dormer window and C18 plank door set in
heavy frame to rear. C18 rear left wing of one storey and attic and similar
materials. Interior not inspected but noted as having fine C18 doorcases and
fireplace, possibly brought here in early C19, and remodelled open fireplaces to
rear and left.
