Two houses, built as servant's accommodation, with attached barn, coach-
house and bothy for Queen Hoo Hall (q.v.). Early to mid C19. Red brick,
some weatherboarding. Tiled roofs. An L-shaped range, 1 storey and attic
to Garden Cottage with barn; coach-house and The Bothy are lower.
Entrance elevation to Garden Cottage faces away from main house, 2
entrances, 4 fielded panelled door in moulded surround to main entrance.
Scattered 1 and 2 light small pane flush frame casements. Two 2 light
gabled half dormers. Ridge stack with oversailing cap. To left an
entrance into barn. To rear facing main house are French doors, gabled
half dormer, 3 light casement. Gabled midstrey with double doors into
weatherboarded barn to right. Further right a door in a lean-to. Lower
coach-house, set back to left from entrance front with 2 large double
doors and a smaller door with a segmental head. Left return has 2 open
bays to The Bothy with a door and three 2 light leaded pane flush frame
casements. Gable end facing main house has 2 metal frame 2 light
casements with segmental heads. Inner return has two 2 light windows. In
coach-house facing main house a stable door and 2 small windows.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
