Barn approx. 15m south-
east of Sodylt Old Hall

Barn. Mid-to late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber
frame on sandstone rubble plinth, corrugated iron-clad to gable facing
road; corrugated iron roof. Central threshing entrance with eaves hatch
to right. Interior. Framing visible: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-
plate with long straight tension braces to bay divisions. Single-purlin
roof in 3 bays with queen-strut end trusses and queen posts to inner trusses;
straight windbraces. Wooden threshing floor.
