House. Dated 1881 over door. Red brick with stone
dressings, some timber framing and tile roof. Irregular
plan, basically L-shaped. Domestic Revival. 2 storeys with
attic, irregular pattern of bays. 1st 2 bays of one storey.
Mullioned and transomed windows. 1st bay projects, with
gable and tall chimney with inglenook window to left return.
4-centred arched entrance with carved spandrels and label
mould raised over datestone. Oriel over has hipped roof,
part of main roof. Attic has gable interrupted by tall
stack to right of entrance. Right return has to 1st bay a
2-storey polygonal bay window and hipped roof, 1st floor has
pargeted panels, 3rd bay projects under gable. 4th bay has
timbered dormer with 2 gables. Last 2 bays of one storey,
2 dormers and octagonal lantern at end.
