GV II
Schoolmaster's house, now classrooms. Mid C19. Red brick with
rendered quoins and plain tile roof. Cruciform plan of 1 plan of 1
storey and garrets, with dog tooth cornice and kneelered parapet
gables and chimney to left. Central projecting gable with
moulded triple lancet window with transom and semi-circular
relieving arch and quatrefoil over. Left wing with lancet pair,
with transom. Right wing with 4 steps up to double plank door
with ornate hinges in arched rendered surrounds. Possibly by
H. Blandford, 1861-2.
