House and shop. Late C18 with C20 shopfront to ground floor left. Good red
brick front with colourwashed stone plinth, moulded eaves and window dressings.
C20 slate roof. 3 storeys; 3 bays. Boxed 3-pane sashes with painted stone
sills, voussoir heads and triple keyblocks. Windows to second floor are
square. Ground floor left altered to C20 shop front. Central 6-panelled door
with semi-circular fanlight, in painted stone or render doorcase. Doorcase has
Doric pilasters and open pediment over voussoir arch. Boot-scraper to right.
Phoenix fire insurance plaque. Brick wing to rear formerly an outbuilding, with
traces of blocked vent slits.
