Burghwash Farmhouse and
attached outbuilding

Farmhouse and outbuildings. Dated 1838. Rubble limestone, mostly rendered, with
gritstone dressings. Welsh slate roof with stone ridge stack and stone gable end
stack. Two storeys with angle quoins. South elevation with three bay house to
the left and outbuildings to the right. The house part has a central doorway with
flush stone surrounds and C19 panelled door, flanked on each side by glazing bar
sashes with flush stone surrounds. Three similar windows above. Outbuildings
with two doorways of differing heights with flush stone surrounds, flanking a tall
carriage arch with segmental arch with dated keystone. Plank doors.
