House. Early C16 core, re-faced in C17. Timber framed core clad in sandstone
rubble with mortar rendering, now worn away, with brick dressings and plat
bands, plain tiled roof. Rectangular. Two storeys with fine end stacks, two
to right on offset, crowstepped plinth, corbelled to left end on similar plinth.
Plat band over ground floor rising up over windows and door with rectangular
panels of brick and enclosing circles of ironstone rubble between the floor
and between the windows. Diamond-pane, leaded casement fenestration, 5 windows
on the first floor, 4 larger windows to ground floor under shouldered heads.
Door to end left in round arched surround. C20 single storey sandstone
extension to end left, brick extension to rear right.
