SX 8366 IPPLEPEN CHURCH PATH, Ipplepen
6/147 Lychgate approx 30 m
east of Church of St

Lychgate. Probably some C17 fabric considerably remodelled in C19. Limestone
rubble gabled side walls supporting gable ended slate roof which has decorative
ridge tiles and coping stones which end in a raised gablet triangle at the kneeler.
The flanking walls are corbelled at the top below the kneelers.
