Description

BISHOPSTEIGNTON FORE STREET (north side),
SX 9073-9173 Bishopsteignton
Garden walls and gate piers to the
13/53 south of Delamore

- II
GV

Garden walls. Early C19, probably contemporary with Delamore (q.v.). Red sandstone
rubble. Tall garden running along Fore Street with square section granite gate-piers
at the south-east and a wide timber gate.
Important to the character of the west end of Fore Street - a sequence of early C19
villas in large gardens - and to the secluded setting of Delamore.
