Chest tomb immediately west of the porch of the Church of St Michael and All Angels

Chest tomb. Late C19. Freestone. A rectangular chest on a plinth with a moulded oversailing lid, the chest with clasping pilasters decorated with trefoil-headed recesses. Inscription in Gothic script on south side commemorates David Connor died at Egland (q.v.) in 1863.
