The Old Vicarage

House. C18 former vicarage stone rubble slate roof with gabled ends and bracketed
eaves. Two storeys and attic. Three bays. Two-light casements with leaded panes
and dressed stone surrounds, central first floor sash with glazing bars and lintel
with keystone. Central fielded panel door with hood on brackets. Brick chimney
stacks at gable end. Two storey symmetrical wings left and right, forming half H
plan with hipped slate roofs and oversailing bracketed eaves. Casement windows,
left hand in dressed stone surrounds with flat arches. The right hand wing has
segmental arched carriageway entrance.
Principal, south west, garden front: two storeys, five bays, sash windows with
glazing bars in rusticated stone surrounds with keyholes. Central panelled door in
moulded architrave with rectangular fanlight and chinoissery wooden lattice porch
with tented lead roof. Left and right lower two-storeyed one-bay wings with sashes
and to right (south east) a further two-storeyed, one bay wing slightly set back.
Interior: much altered.
