House, now restaurant and flat. Early C17, refronted early C18 with mid-C19
and some late C20 alterations. Timber-frame clad in brick, with,tile roof.
Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice, band to first floor, two windows:
boxed 16-pane sashes under plastered wedge lintels with stone sills; second
floor: as first floor; ground floor: pilastered shop front with scroll
brackets to cornice, passageway to left corner with recessed C20 ledged and
boarded door; to right corner shop entrance with overlight and glazed door,
plate glass shop window. Framing: visible in left gable has tall struts
to a high collar with V-struts in the apex.
