SS 90 SW REWE UPEXE

House. C18. Stone and cob mix, rendered, under gabled-end, slates preserved
on front roof only, asbestos slates on rear. 3-room, cross-passage plan,
with main entrance left of centre. 2 external end stacks. 2 storeys. Front:
4-window range, 2-light casements above, 6 panes per light, under blind
housings. Porch (rebuilt) with Tuscan columns and pilasters and moulded
canopy; panelled door. 3 sash French windows to ground floor, 4 panes to
each sash, with Tuscan fluted pilaster architraves. Pilaster added to right
end of front, left end obscured by creeper. Rear extensions, C20. Interior:
a good C18 interior; early-C18 dog-leg staircase with turned balusters.
End chimneypieces with bolection moulded surrounds, and C19 grates. Internal
doors, fielded panels and HL hinges.
