Pair of cottages. Circa early - mid C18 with C19 additions. Rendered cob and
rubble walls. 2 brick axial stacks.
Plan: pair of identical 2-room cottages each with central axial stack serving both
rooms and lobby entrance in front of it. C19 outshut added at rear of each house.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 4-window front, each cottage with 2 windows. No 1 to
right has mid C20 2-lignt casements with 3-light canted bay window on ground floor
to left. Central C20 plank door. No 2 to left has 3-light early - mid C20
casements and central C20 part-glazed door.
Interior: neither cottage exhibits early features on the ground floor although they
may have been concealed. It is possible that original roof timbers survive.
