1.3.88 Ramscliffe Farmhouse

Barn. Probably C18 with mid - C19 addition. Cob on stone rubble plinth, with
addition of uncoursed stone rubble. Gable-ended corrugated asbestos roof (probably
formerly thatched) and gable-ended Welsh-slate roof over addition, with C20 bitumen
covering.
Plan: Aligned approximately north-south, consisting of C18 barn to south with
entrance to east and small C19 addition to north.
Exterior: Large cart entrance to east with wooden lintel.
The barn forms part of a small farmstead group including the farmhouse (q.v.) to the
north.
