Farmhouse. Circa 1830-40. Stuccoed brick with exposed brick stack on each side
over Welsh-slate roof. Late Regency style house with central stair hall and 4-
room, double depth plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 5-window front (all 12-light
sashes with glazing bars). Rusticated quoins and scored ashlarwork. Central 6-
panel door with rectangular fan and side-lights. Contemporary wooden porch with
tented lead roof surmounted by simple wooden crown, shaped valance, panelled and
glazed sides, and corner posts made up of slender shafts around an iron post. Roof
hipped each side. Projecting eaves on shaped brackets. Original iron gutter with
lions head joints. Interior has original open string stair with stick balusters
and curtail step and other contemporary fittings.
