Large cottage, formerly 2 cottages, possibly C17. Whitewashed rendered cob and
rubble. Thatch roof and rubble stack and end stack heightened in brick. 2 storeys.
Late C19 extension to rear. 3 window range of 2-light casements (3 panes each
light) and 2 sashes 2 panes over 2 panes to right and similar sash and 4-paned
casement to left of C20 doorway. The sash to left of door was originally the
doorway to the end cottage. Old staircase but much altered interior. There is no
access to roofspace but 2 original trusses, roughly hewn and slightly curving,
appear to survive.
