SS 43 NE GEORGEHAM NETHERHAM'S HILL, Georgeham

GV II

House. Cl7. Colourwashed rendered rubble and cob. Thatch roof hipped at left
end, gable end to right. Rubble stack at left end (adjacent road) and lateral
stack with slate weathering at rear. Truncated 3-cell and cross passage plan with
much of the upper end demolished and rebuilt in breeze-blocks to single-storey
height with corrugated roof, but tall lateral rubble stack to rear survives. 2
storeys, 3 window range, two 2-light casements to left and 3-light casement to
right all with glazing bars. Three 2-light casements with glazing bars and off-
centre doorway with half-hipped thatch roof and half-glazed C20 door. The
surviving stack to upper end retains chamfered fireplace lintel. Outshuts to rear
now under thatched catslide, the others slated.
