Sharplow Farmhouse and
attached outbuildings

Farmhouse. Late C18. Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. Plain
tile roof with brick ridge stack and gable end stacks. Two and a half storeys.
Angle quoins. South elevation, left to right - five bays. 2-light square
section flush mullion window. Similar window above but linked in one with the
similar, but smaller, attic window, ie: effectively forming a cross window. Bay
two is identical. Bay three has a C20 gabled stone porch with a half-glazed door
and a single light window above, linked in similar fashion to the single light
attic window. Bay four with a 2-light window to the ground floor. Bay five is
identical to bays one and two. Lower outbuilding to the right with a large
gabled porch.
