Pair of piers on continuous dwarf wall, formerly for railings. Probably 1881. Dressed stone, colourwashed. Broad cylindrical piers on base and with upper band, chamfered tops and ball finials. Dwarf wall has chamfered angles.

Forms a group with No. 496 (Withington Ale House) and two pairs of piers to its forecourt (qv).
