House. Early C17 much altered. Stone, old tile roof, 4 ornamental
brick chimney stacks, 2 hipped 3-light dormers. 2-storeys and attic,
East front U shaped centre part of 3 bays, cross casements, 2-light
to centre of 1st floor, others 4-light except LH ground floor which is
a casement of 4-lights. All have leaded glazing. Central 6 panelled
oak door in older moulded frame in arched stone porch with springers, all
within a C19 gabled timber porch. LH projecting gabled wing has a 3-
light leaded attic casement over C19 2-storey canted bay window. RH
wing rebuilt C19 in Tudor manner. Interior has chamfered beams. Some
c1600 panelling and an altered early Cl8 oak staircase with turned
balusters and moulded handrail.
