SU 78 NE HAMBLEDEN HAMBLEDEN VILLAGE

House. Mid C18, altered late C19. Brick fronts to north and east,
remainder flint and brick. Moulded wooden eaves cornice, hipped old
tile roof, brick chimney to centre. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic,
2 bays. E. front has C19 sashes in altered openings to ground floor
left and first floor, late Cl9 French doors to right, and blocked window
to first floor centre. 2 hipped dormers with paired wooden casements and
glazed cheeks. Central late C19 porch projection, of brick, with
gauged flat arch over double half-glazed doors. N. front has narrow
4-pane sashes with moulded frames, those to ground floor with gauged
heads. Small central C19-C20 hipped projection with diagonal boarding
and leaded glazing. Lean-to and C20 extensions to right.
