1837 in Tudor style, but cartouche above the door from previous building of
1744. L-shaped building in stone and brick. Stone slate and Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys and attics. 5 gabled dormers, leaded casements, carved bargeboards
and finials. 6 windows, 4-light Cl9 transom and mullions, leaded casements.
The Almsrooms and No 50 form a group.
Also The Almsrooms, Nos 61 to 67 (odd), Nos 71, 73 Premises occupied by
FC Wright, Nos 81 to 93 (odd), Premises occupied by Westgate Cafe and
No 99 and No 101 form a group.
