House, now outbuilding, and coach house. Late C17 with late C18 or early
C19 alterations and addition. Rubble with dressed stone, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 2:1 first-floor openings. Former house, to left: quoins to
right; central chamfered quoined dressed stone doorway with triangular head
and old board door; to left, partly blocked window opening to left, and
board pitching door above; to right, stable door with shuttered opening
above; all with deep lintels. To right, board leaved door in segmental-
arched opening, with shuttered opening above. Rear: external stone steps up
to loft over coach house. Interior: stone winder staircase to left;
chamfered triangular-headed fireplace to right. North Yorkshire and
