Green Farmhouse

Farmhouse, dated 1689 with C20 alterations. Limewashed rubble brought to course,
stone dressings, stone slate roof. Probably lobby entry plan. 2 storeys, 4
bays. Projecting gabled entrance porch in second bay has right-hand entrance,
moulded surround and dated decorated lintel inscribed:

6 panel door. To left is ground floor 2-light ovolo mullioned window and above
is stepped 3 light cavetto mullioned window. Sundial with iron gnomon below
in stepped light, infilled panel in gable. On ground floor to left of porch
is blocked segmental headed chamfered fire window, and 3-light cavetto mullioned
window with similar but 2-light window above. To right of porch are 3 and 2
light ovolo mullioned windows on ground floor, and 2 similar windows on upper
floor but with cavetto mullions. Windows have C20 casements. Gable end ridge
stacks and stack to left of centre. Interior not accessible.
