House and cottage, now house. C17 with C18 alterations. Gritstone rubble,
graduated stone slate roof. 2-storey, 3-bay house with probably added
cottage-bay to right. Quoins. Original house: no openings to bay 1. C20
panelled door between bays 2 and 3 with chamfered quoined jambs and plain
lintel. Flanking recessed chamfered mullioned windows of 3 lights left and
of 6 lights with king mullion to right; door and windows under a
continuous stepped dripmould, two 3-light windows with flat-faced mullions
to first-floor, a small stone plaque between. Cottage to right: board door
right in chamfered surround; a 4-light window to left and a 2-light window
above, both probably restored. Large ashlar ridge stack between bays 1 and
2 of original range, and a large rubble stack between the original and
added ranges. Interior not inspected at resurvey.
