Cottage. Mid C18 with C20 alterations. Rubble, stone dressings, c1984 tile
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance has plain surround and moulded lintel;
early C20 door. On ground floor to left and right are 2 tripartite windows with
recessed flat-faced mullions; C20 casements. 2 similar windows on upper floor
and central single-light window; C20 casements. Left-hand quoins and gable-end
ridge stack. Quoins to right at former gable, now party wall with Thornton Cottage
(qv).
