Description

1.
Ilkley Road
1480
(North Side)
SE 1945 3/32 30.7.51. No 33
II GV

2.
Dwelling house, stone built, stone slated, two storeys, late C17. Five
windows in the width. The windows have splayed jambs and heads but they
are large for their date, and it is surprising that there is no evidence
of the previous existence of mullions or transoms. The openings now have
sash frame windows. Original doorway is replaced by a later one, panelled
stone surround. Door of six panels, rectangular fanlight. The rear of
the house is of later style and the interior probably of C18 character.
Recently repointed and cleaned.

Nos 1 to 43 (odd) and leather warehouse form a group.
