Farmhouse. Mid C18 refronting of earlier building, with later alterations.
Rubble, brick, pantiled roof and treble Roman tiled roof to west, brick and
rubble gable stacks to west. 2½ storeys, 3:1 windows, all boxed sashes except
centre 1st floor round headed window of 4 panes with brick head, ground floor
left window of 4 panes, central attic window with wooden frame and shutters, all
with timber lintels, central 6-panelled door with trellis porch and flat hood;
projecting block to right has bow at ground floor left of 12 panes, 4-pane
window above, all with gauged brick segmental head, lean-to to left with plank
door with strap hinges and timber lintel. West elevation has brick flue, small
segmental headed window of 6 panes with brick head, 2-storey rear wing has one
window at 1st floor, 2 at ground, all C20, single storey addition to south with
plank door and timber lintel; east elevation has unglazed attic window of
3 lights with iron stanchions, shutters and timber lintel. Rear has C20 porch
and varied windows including 2 boxed sashes at ground floor with horns, 3-light
casement at 1st floor, small opening at attic with wooden frame and shutters,
C20 plank door to right. Interior: not inspected.
