House. Circa early C19, with some C20 alterations. Stone rubble; rendered and
painted at the right side (facing on to Church Street). Asbestos slate roof with
ridge tiles, with gable end to left, hipped to right. End stacks with rendered
shafts.
Plan: 2-room plan, with each room heated from an end stack; the partition walls have
been removed between the rooms at ground floor. The house is built over a fish
cellar which is entered from a doorway at the right end.
Exterior: 2 storeys, with a symmetrical 2-window front; ground and first floor have
two late C19 6-pane sashes with cambered arches at ground floor. At the right end
there is a C19 4-panelled door to the cellar. At the rear, there is a C19 4-pane
casement at ground floor to left and four steps to right leading up to a recessed
doorway with C20 door. The left side abuts the adjoining house.
