Farmhouse.

Barn/cart shed with granary over, c1800. Random sandstone rubble with
dressings; dressed sandstone to south gable end. Welsh slate roof has stone
ridge and gable copings and moulded kneelers. South gable end fronts onto
Cow Close Lane, and has 2 basket-arched cart openings with voussoirs.
Central boarded loft door below pigeon cote in gable, with open pediment on
consoles, over 2 small segment-headed openings above floating cornice. East
face has 3 slit vents on ground floor; 2 boarded openings in left-hand side
of granary and fixed-light window with glazing bars to right. West face has
stable door on ground-floor and slit vents in granary. Later farm buildings
adjoining east, west and north sides, are not of interest. Formerly known
as Lane Head Farm.
