Cleveland House

GV II

C1870s. 2 storeys, five ranges of late glazed sash windows. Ashlar front with
dog-tooth course over plinth and an enriched eaves cornice with small circular
panel below. Carved band over ground floor; stringcourse at impost level of
elliptical headed 1st floor window. Hipped slate roof with a crested ridge.
2 chimneys. 3 light bays on ground floor, with wooden cornice. Central doorway
of 2 flat orders with porphyry in the jambs; the inner order carved is also
the capitals and the band at capital level.
