4/48 Cross in garden to south of Oak

GV II

Cross. Medieval. Granite. The remains of a medieval cross with complete wheelhead
carved on both faces with raised Maltese cross and raised rim. Very little of the
shaft is visible and it is uncertain how much of the shaft remains buried.
The cross has been resited in the ground of Oak House (qv) previously the vicarage
for the Church of St Nonna.
