NY 33 NW CALDBECK HESKET NEWMARKET

13/10 Temperance Hall

GV II

Cottage, later Temperance Hall, now cottage. Early C19. Roughcast rubble with
slate roof. Small double fronted two storey building. Central entrance,
modern panelled door with some glazed panels, in stone architrave with simple
cornice. Two non-opening 4 pane windows in plain stone architraves on each
floor. Wooden board inscribed 'THE TEMPERANCE HALL' over door. Ridge stack to
left. Included for group value and local historical interest.
