Farmhouse with barn and former stable now outdoor activities centre, part
probably originally reading room. Mid C18 with C19 alterations. Painted
rough-cast and incised rendered walls, under graduated green slate roof with
limestone chimney-stacks, partly rebuilt. Barn of limestone rubble, under
graduated green slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with left 2-bay extension and
2-bay former stables all under common roof. Lower right 3-bay barn. House has
cross-passage doorway with C20 door and overlight in painted stone surround.
C20 casement windows in painted stone surrounds. Left extension has 2 large
sash windows in C19 painted stone surrounds. Former stable has plank door in
painted stone surround and double-plank-door cart entrance. Barn. Projecting
central cart entrance with flanking plank doors in stone surrounds.
