Entrance lodge to Woburn Park. Dated 1852. Built for 7th Duke of Bedford.
Yellow brick with rendered dressings. C20 tile roof. Small single-storeyed L-
plan block. Road elevation has pair of gables, with 2-light mullioned window
below each. E elevation (towards gates) has canted bay window to RH gable,
and gabled porch to LH block. All gables have rendered coping with kneelers
and ornamental finials. All windows contain cast iron latticework casements.
Adjoining cottage to E are heavy timber gates, the piers surmounted by
ornamental finials.
