Cottage. Probably late C17 or early C18 with probably late C19 addition. Rendered,
probably over cob, with left-hand gable end of stone rubble. Half-hipped thatched
roof. Brick end stack.
Plan and development: Two-room central-entrance plan with integral end stacks
(right-hand stack truncated), facing south (sited at right angles to the road).
Principal larger room to right. Probable late C19 former outbuilding adjoining at
right-hand end. Two storeys with one-storey addition.
Exterior: Symmetrically-fenestrated front, with 3 windows to the first floor and 2
to the ground floor; mostly late C19 or early C20 two-light wooden casements (left-
hand ground-floor window of 3 lights). Roughly-central doorway with C20 plank door
and probably C19 or early C20 gabled brick porch with shaped barge boards. Slightly
set-back right-hand addition has 3-light wooden casement to front.
