House, in two phases, C18 with early C19 top storey. Coursed sandstone,
finely-tooled below, herringbone-tooled above. pantiled roof with stone
copings, kneelers and stacks. 3 storeys, 1 wide bay. Plinth. Gable end to
street. Right steps up to recessed modern half-glazed door. left 16-pane
sash. Yorkshire sashes with projecting cills above, 24-pane on first floor,
16-pane on second floor. Flat gable coping with rolled kneelers. Left return
canted back at rear and blank but for a 16-pane sash on ground floor and a
24-pane Yorkshire sash above, both at extreme right. 2 cornice-banded chimneys
at eaves level.
