Gates, railings and 4 gate piers. Probably early C19. Iron gates and
railings; gate piers of rusticated sandstone. Gate piers square on plan
with bowed faces, approximately 3 metres high, of banded rustication.
Continuous moulded impost band. Roundels enclosing rosettes to each face of
the frieze. Moulded cornice. Flat caps carved with festoons in high relief
surmounted by fluted flat urns. Formerly the main entrance to Wykeham
Abbey.
