House. Late C18 with C19 alteration and extension. Squared sandstone to
front with coursed rubble sandstone to sides and rear; plinth; herringbone-
tooled quoins; Roman tile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. Central-entry
plan, 1½ rooms deep; rear wing added and raised later. 2-storey, 3-window
front. Central door of 6 recessed panels with divided overlight in
pilastered door-case with cornice hood. 4-pane sashes with stone sills
throughout, with wedge lintels to ground floor. First-floor windows break
stepped eaves course. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks to
steeply-pitched roof. Right return front: 16-pane sashes. Interior:
panelled window recesses to ground-floor front windows. Ground-floor room
to left has a fireplace with panelled jambs with a cornice shelf and
roundels to the frieze.
