House of three builds. Late C18 with mid C19 wing and additional C20
entrance lobby to rear. Limestone ashlar, with some herringbone tooling,
stone slate roof. 2 parallel ranges under M-shaped roof, with Victorian
wing to right and entrance lobby to rear. 2 storeys, 6 first floor windows,
3 bays to left section, canted bay to right section. Left section: 15-panel
door beneath overlight. Sashes with glazing bars beneath keyed stone
lintels throughout. Stepped eaves course. Gable coping, shaped kneeler and
stack to left. Ridge stack to right. Right section: sashes with glazing
bars. First floor: 9-pane unequal sashes. Channelled wedge lintels with
chisel tooling throughout. Pyramidal roof to canted bay. End stack.
Interior: open string staircase with alternate column-on-vase and
barleysugar balusters. Set of 4 medieval corbels built into C18 range at
rear.
