GV II
House. Early C19 with C20 alteration. Variegated brick in Flemish bond
with pantile roof. 3-storey, 2-window front. Left of centre 6-panel door
with overlight beneath bracketed cornice porch on fluted pilasters,
approached by flight of stone steps. Similar rear access door and steps to
end right. C20 single-pane sashes with painted stone sills throughout.
Painted wedge lintels to all ground and first-floor openings, and thin
timber lintels to second-floor windows. End and left of centre stacks.
Slender cast-iron railings with wreathed handrail on turned standards
attached to both flights of steps. Included for group value.
