Farmbuildings, part now used as shop. Late C18 with earlier origins, and
C20 alteration. Whitewashed chalkstone on sandstone plinth, with
whitewashed brick arches and pantile roof. Corner site. 1-storey range,
with irregular quoins at left end. Elliptical arch towards right end with
double board doors. At right end inserted openings, with C20 fixed windows,
to right of part-glazed door both with brick arches. Towards left end,
reset datestone inscribed:
1719
WC
Raised eaves band. Roof hipped at right. No openings in right return.
Included for group value. Hertford Cottage not of special interest.
