GV II
House. Early C19 with possible C17 origins. Limestone rubble, vestigial
timber frame, pantile roof. Central entry. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor
windows, evidence for raising of eaves. Board door flanked by 2-light
Yorkshire sashes. 2-light Yorkshire sashes to first floor. Sprocketed
eaves, left end stack. Interior: some framing visible including massive
chamfered tie-beam to right of front door with spine beam tenoned into it
and supporting pit-sawn floor joists of very slight scantling. Massive
bressumer to former kitchen. Tops of posts visible at first-floor level.
