Public house and stables range. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
House: coursed gritstone rubble, roof in process of restoration at time of resurvey.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Central 4-panel door with wooden architrave and
cornice, flanked by canted bay windows with 4-pane sashes. Small 4-pane
side-sliding sash above door, flanked by larger 3-light side-sliding sashes,
lintels restored. Kneelers, gable copings, end stacks. Outbuilding: lower,
of 2 storeys, 3 bays, in process of alteration, partly for domestic use, at
time of resurvey. Facade to road has C20 windows only. Kneeler and gable
coping to left; end and central ridge stacks. Rear has external stairs,
original stable doors and windows.
